WORK 01

Pickle!

9’2″ x 23″ x 3″ Custom Shaped noserider. Glassed by Nautilus surf co. Rides like a cargo container but is just as stable. Still working up the skill to pull off anything better than a hang five but walking the plank is a must for success on this thing.

WORK 02

Guitars

Pictures pending….

I fully made the Jazzcaster on the left. James Hetfield signature EMG pickups, killswitch, classic trem, locking hipshots, the whole shabang so to speak. This thing is fun when my novice soldering job doesn’t mute the pickups.

The one on the right is some 12 string I salvaged from a shed, I replaced all the tuners and got the rusted electronics to work only when all of the mysterious Japanese switches are set to on. While it takes half an hour to tune and the action has the same curve as the surfboard pictured above, at least it makes a good wall piece.

WORK 01

Mud. Crab.

5’6″ x ? x ? asymmetrical monstrosity. Someone left behind the blank at the Cal Poly shaping studio because the left tail had a giant chunk taken out of it. I took over the blank and made it this way… on purpose. Once again, glassed by Nautilus surf co. I am proud to say that the backside is sufficiently loose, and the frontside stable enough to carve it up like a thanksgiving turkey. Who knows what compelled me to paint the smallest board I own the most shark-attractant colors, but the cool factor is certainly worth the risk.

WORK 02

Wave Wizard

The one that started it all, I scrounged this board from some dude on Facebook marketplace. I have to repair the tail every month or so, and the thing is about as dented my roommate’s car. That being said, the design I added makes it the perfect vehicle for medium sized swells.
